Donald Lirette, RN
Executive Director, Owner
Donald is a co-founder and the Executive Director of Bayou Home Care. He oversees the company’s direction and strategy for operations, including its financial well-being.
Donald is a native of New Orleans, resident of Houma, and a proud graduate of Terrebonne High School. After attending Nicholls State University for pre-nursing courses, he went on to attend and graduate from Charity School of Nursing in 1991. Donald served 5 years in the Army National Guard as a surgical tech while attending college.
After several positions in the hospital setting, he decided to start his home health career in 1993. In his 23 years of home health experience, Donald has worked with direct patient care and community relations while working toward the vision of owning his own home health company.
Donald has been truly humbled to see the growth of his dream, something he says takes teamwork and commitment from everyone involved.
Lloyd ‘Bubby’ Olsen RN, BSN, BGS
Chief Operations Officer, Owner
Bubby is a native of Houma Louisiana and graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School. He attended Louisiana State University before receiving two Bachelor of Science degrees from Nicholls State University: General Studies/Minor in Chemistry and Nursing.
Bubby began his career as a critical care nurse at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, LA before transitioning to the home health industry with a regional provider located in Metairie, LA.
With 17 years home health and community care nursing and administration, he has been involved in all clinical, marketing and operational aspects of the home healthcare field.
As a co-founder of Bayou Home Care, Bubby’s experience has helped him succeed in developing the company from the ground up.
Thomas Calhoun, RN
Lead Director of Nursing
Tom is a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana and graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School in 1983. He attended Nicholls State University receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and obtaining a minor in Biology.
Tom worked for JoEllen Smith Psychiatric hospital as a Clinical Associate for several years before returning to school at Charity School of Nursing. He began his nursing career as a Staff RN in the Emergency Department of Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
Tom moved into Home health nursing initially as a Staff Field RN. He has served many other roles during his over 20-year home health career: clinical supervisor, director of nursing, administrator with multi-agency site management, and agency ownership. Tom current functions as Clinical Director for Bayou Home Care.
Stacey Molero, RN, BSN
Regional Clinical Manager
Stacey was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area and has been the Regional Clinical Manager of Bayou Home Care since 2012. Her clinical competency spans from Medical Surgical, ICU, Step-Down CCU, and ER Nursing. She also has 20 years of home health experience, 15 years of which she held the title of Director of Nursing.
Stacey holds a bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State Medical Centers.
She is passionate about educating staff and to grow their knowledge and better care for our patients and their families. Stacey is dedicated to assuring a positive patient experience as well as working with nurses and therapists to improve quality.
Betsy Sampey
Human Resources Coordinator
Betsy was born, raised and resides in Raceland, Louisiana. She graduated from Central Lafourche High School (Go Trojans!); and has a 13 year old son, Spencer, two dogs, and is most looking forward to her upcoming marriage to fiancé, Dustin, at their Jamaican wedding in March.
Betsy’s hobbies outside of work include spending time with family, vacationing, watching her son play sports and fishing.
Betsy joined Bayou Home Care in 2009 and serves as the Human Resources Coordinator. Her favorite part of the job, other than her coworkers, is knowing that they make a difference in people’s lives.
